The Blackhawks can take a 2-0 stranglehold on this series by defending their home ice tonight. It will be interesting to see what adjustments the Hawks have made to their plan of attack. They were not given much room in the middle of the ice, on Tuesday night, which prevented them from using their speed to their advantage. Dave Bolland and Ray Emery will both sit out Game 2, but they might make the trip to St. Paul.
Niklas Backstrom and Clayton Stoner, who were both injured on Tuesday, will make the trip back to Chicago, but it is unknown if they will play. If Backstrom, who is listed as day to day, can not go, Josh Harding will look to repeat his great performance from Game 1, where he made 35 saves in a losing effort. Jason Pominville did not make the trip back for Game 2.
