We are definitely in the market for a dman, Johnson is a name that's out there. He averages 16 minutes a game this year, only 1 minute 33 seconds (5th best) in terms of SHTOI. I'm guessing this is hot air, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

Premiering Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 6:30 p.m. (5:30 CT) on VERSUS, the first installment of this unprecedented documentary series will train its cameras upon Chicago Blackhawks® forward Patrick Kane.

Well-written three-part series from the New York Times on Derek Boogaard, who died last May of an overdose. After reading this, personally I can no longer in good conscious cheer a hockey fight.

The fact that it's "allegedly"* an Alabama phone number and not something in Singapore or Vietnam, provides a wee bit more credence, and the $43 jerseys for guys no longer here makes perfect sense (too bad there's no Ladd), but $43 for Toews/Kane/Hossa/Keith jerseys...almost worth a $43 gamble...
