Blues recall Woywitka

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues have recalled defenseman Jeff Woywitka from Peoria of the American Hockey League.
Woywitka has played in 87 NHL games, all with St. Louis, and has registered three goals with 14 assists for 17 points. He has appeared in six games for Peoria this season, collecting six assists.
The 25-year-old native of Alberta notched two goals and six assists in 27 games with the Blues last season. He was originally selected by Philadelphia with the 27th overall pick of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
