Sports Network | November 17, 2008

Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury has been ruled out for Tuesday's home game against the Minnesota Wild with an undisclosed injury.

Pittsburgh head coach Michel Therrien confirmed Monday that Fleury, 23, suffered the injury late in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres, the club's sixth consecutive win overall. Fleury was absent from practice on Monday and is officially listed as day-to-day.

The top overall pick in 2003, Fleury is 8-3-2 with a 2.86 goals-against average and .907 save percentage in 14 games this season.
