After a victory over Detroit on Sunday that I think has opened some eyes in the NHL, the Blackhawks are flying high heading into a six game road trip, the dreaded Thanksgiving trip with the circus at the United Center.

Usually this trip doesn’t go too well for the ‘Hawks, but this year they have a lot of momentum to start off. They will come into this tilt with Columbus looking for their fourth straight win. They played the Jackets exactly a week ago at the UC, and defeated them 5-2, scoring four goals in the 3rd period.

Hopefully the ‘Hawks are focused on this one and not still floating on cloud nine from the big win on Sunday. Columbus is a tough team this year and a consistent 60 minute effort will be needed in order to come out with a road victory in this one.

As usual, feel free to create an account if you haven’t done so already and leave comments on the game as you’re watching, I’ll be around doing the same!
