So we're not always drunk assholes around here - sometimes we like to actually do something good. This is one of those times. This Saturday, I'm going to take part in the annual CrossFit event - Fight Gone Bad. What is CrossFit you might ask? It's a fairly insane workout style that I've been doing for a while and even recently roped Fels into. Learn more about it here.
What is Fight Gone Bad? Well for starters, it's one of the more particularly intense workouts in a world of rough workouts. Three one minute AMRAPs of Wall Balls, Sumo Deadlift High Pulls, Box Jum... fuck it - this probably doesn't make sense to you.. just watch this if you're really curious:

More importantly, people across the world use Fight Gone Bad every year as a fundraiser for some really great causes. The charities this year are the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides college scholarships to children who have had a parent killed in military combat and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families; Infant Swimming Resource/Crossfit Kids, which will sponsor the children of first-responders or under served families swimming lessons in support of the "Not One More Child Drowns" campaign and Camp Patriot, which takes disabled vets on outdoor trips and other adventures they might not be able to do otherwise. Please, look into all of these charities... they're all great. Basically, Fight Gone Bad is like a really intense "walk for a cure" event.
This will be my second year taking part but I thought I would ask all you wonderful people for some support this year. If you would like to "sponsor" me.. you can do so by going to this page. I would be exceptionally grateful. Even the smallest amount helps.
Thank you friends.
