Icehogs Vs Milwauke Admirals Preview/GDT

New, comments

Icehogs get back at it tonight versus the Milwaukee Admirals. Puck drops at 7:05 at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

The Hogs will take on the Admirals for the second time in five days and this is the third of five meetings between the two rivals in the month of December. Rockford only has one point in its last four games and that came via a 4-3 loss to Milwaukee, in overtime, last Friday. The AHL's Midwest division couldn't get any tighter if it tried. The IceHogs are tied atop the division with the Grand Rapids Griffins and the Peoria Rivermen with 28 points. The Admrials and the Chicago Wolves are just one point behind with 27 each.

Ben Smith, Brandon Pirri and Martin St. Pierre all of scored a pair of goals in three games versus Milwaukee this year. Four of Adam Clendening's team high 16 assists have come against the Admirals this season. Gabriel Bourque has three goals against the Hogs in three games while Taylor Beck has added four assists in those games. Look for a goalie match up of Carter Hutton versus Jeremy Smith tonight.
