The Rockford IceHogs will close out their home schedule for 2012 by hosting a familiar foe in the Milwaukee Admirals tonight. The Hogs will look to pick up their 7th win in December in tonight's tilt. The Hogs are 2-2-1-0 against their division rivals this season and enter the game just one point ahead of the Admirals in the Midwest Division standings. Brandon Pirri has scored 3 of his 10 goals versus Milwaukee this year. Adam Clendening has 5 assists in 5 games against the Admirals.

The Admirals are in the midst of a 3 game winning streak, a streak that started with a 2-1 win over the Hogs on December 21st. The Admirals tend to play in close games so far this season. 24 of their first 30 games have been decided by 2 goals or less so look for another evenly matched game tonight. Gabriel Bourque has scored 3 goals against Rockford this year. Victor Bartley and Talyor Beck each have tallied 4 assists versus the Hogs so far. Goaltender Jeremy Smith is 3-1 with a 2.15 GAA and a .93 save % between the pipes against Rockford.
