Going with another Swede tonight, but possibly the best looking player in an Indian head. The Rattle snake, Viktor Stalberg.
Stalberg's speed still surprises me at times and he was easily the faster Hawk on the ice tonight when the rest of the team looked like they were playing their third game in four nights. He creates so much with his speed and it finally looks like his hands are starting to catch up with his speed. Hopefully, it will turn into some more points for Stals.
He wasn't credited with any hits but I definitely noticed him laying the body on a few plays tonight.
Stalberg tied the game at two just 2:24 into the third and thus extending the Hawks unbeaten streak.
Stalberg had one more shot than Yakupov and was a +/-: 1 on the night. Yakupov also only played only 9 minutes and 5 seconds. Stalberg played 13:26 by comparison.
The Hawks keep rolling and head down to St. Louis to face the Blues on Thursday night. It's going to be a tough game, I hope they take these few days to rest up and refocus because if they bring the same level against the Blues that they did against Columbus or Oilers they may not be so lucky to walk out with points.
