The Bruins have tried to go all Cobra Kai on the Blackhawks, but it's time for the Hawks to deliver one last crane kick to boys in black and yellow. Will June 24, 2013 go down in Hawks history with June 9, 2010 as one of the greatest nights ever? God I hope so. I have seen way too much "I hope they win it at home" crap in the last 48 hours. End it tonight! There are too many crazy things that can happen in a hockey game, especially when it's a winner take all Game 7. I want nothing to do with a Game 7 between these two teams. The Bruins have been in this situation before and won two straight against Vancouver just two years ago. I think we all know these are not the Canucks they are dealing with this time around. The Blackhawks are not a team of mental midgets that will implode at the first sign of trouble. The Bruins will not be able to get into their heads like they did with the Canucks in 2011. They are going to have to beat them in between the whistles and I don't know if they can do that.
The biggest story going into Game 6 is the health of two of the top stars in this series; Jonathan Toews and Patrice Bergeron. Toews fully participated in this morning's skate and appeared to be just fine. Coach Q was very confident in the health of his captain; "Well, it's good to know that he was able to play and practice this morning, as well. He felt fine yesterday, as well, so we were very encouraged heading into today's day. It's good to know that he's ready to go." Patrice Bergeron was a no show at the Bruins' morning skate but is expected to play as well. Claude Julien disclosed the following about his status; "Patrice will dress for warm-up tonight, and I'm feeling confident that he'll play." As a precaution, both Jay Pandalfo and Jordan Caron will be in the warm-ups as well. All eyes will be on number 37 when he takes the ice tonight for any kind of clue about his health.
