Both teams had some opportunities in the second period but it remains 2-2 between the Blackhawks and Sabres with 20 minutes in regulation. Buffalo goalie Jhonas Enroth has found some rhythm after a cold start and is now 26-of-28 overall against Chicago shot attempts through two periods. If there's one thing that been strikingly apparent the past hour or so, it's the struggles of David Rundblad, so we'll see how much playing time he gets the remainder of the game and going forward. Might be time for a little Dahlbeck or Clendening soon.
