The Chicago Blackhawks finally got a goal from Brad Richards on the power play Saturday night and enter the second period tied, 1-1, against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Richards has shown some signs of life in recent games and finally lit the lamp with an impressive shot to beat James Reimer. We haven't seen many shots like that from the 'Hawks this season, let alone Richards, so it was refreshing to see. The period wasn't lacking in miscues, though, so it's not like things were all good. Hopefully the next 40 minutes look a bit tighter -- for now, here's your new game thread.
Go 'Hawks!
