**The NHL made some rule changes Tuesday at its annual November meeting, getting rid of the dry scrape and altering rules for goal reviews. (Puck Daddy)

**The Stars and Jason Spezza are working on a multi-year contract extension (TSN)

**Chris Pronger will be eligible for the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2015 after the organization clarified its three-year waiting period rules (ESPN)

**Avalanche defenseman Ryan Wilson will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery (Avalanche)

**Sports Illustrated basically won't put hockey on its cover. Greg Wyshynski goes off a bit on that. (Puck Daddy)

**The Blue Jackets have claimed defenseman Kevin Connauton off waivers from Dallas (PHT)

**Olli Maatta is back in the Penguins' lineup just weeks after having a cancerous tumor removed (Puck Daddy)

**Josh Harding is heading to the AHL's Iowa Wild after clearing waivers. Turns out nobody wanted the goaltender and his $1.9 million cap hit. (Star Tribune)

**More injury woes for Pavel Datsyuk (MLive)
