2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: SCH open thread April 24

For the second straight night, there will be two potential elimination games on the schedule. The Ottawa Senators won Game 4 to stay alive against the Montreal Canadiens, but Friday night they’ll have to win again and this time at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The New York Rangers will also try to close out a first-round series at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

With the series tied at 2-2, the Central Division foes St. Louis and Minnesota face-off in the nightcap.

The Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate Rockford IceHogs will open their first-round series against the defending Calder Cup Champion Texas Stars at 7:30 p.m. on the road at the Cedar Park Center. The IceHogs are 4-0-0 against the Stars this season and are looking for their first postseason win since 2008. Each game during the Calder Cup Playoffs will be broadcasted live on 23.2 Antenna TV or online with AHL Live.
