2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs: SCH open thread May 26

The Lightning are one win away from upending the New York Rangers and advancing to the Stanley Cup Final. Here's your place to discuss all the action.

The Tampa Bay Lightning can clinch a berth in the Stanley Cup Final for the first time since 2004 when they host the New York Rangers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final on Tuesday night at Amalie Arena.

In 2004, the Lightning beat the Philadelphia Flyers in seven games to advance to their first-ever Cup Final where they would beat the Calgary Flames in a seven-game thriller. Last year, the Rangers defeated the Montreal Canadiens in six games to reach the Cup Final. The Rangers last lost a conference final in 2012 to the New Jersey Devils in six games.

In AHL Calder Cup playoff action, the Manchester Monarchs (Kings) will look to go up 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Final against the Hartford Wolf Pack (Rangers) on the road.
