Blackhawks vs. Jets game thread: Part 2

The 'Hawks and Jets are tied at 1 after 20 minutes. Join us to discuss the middle frame!

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

After an exciting and physical first period, the Blackhawks and Jets find themselves tied at 1. Brandon Saad opened the scoring just 53 seconds after puck drop, but the 'Hawks couldn't hold that lead, as Zach Bogosian netted the equalizer about 10 minutes later. The first period also featured 2 fights, with Bryan Bickell and Brent Seabrook dropping the gloves for the 'Hawks. Certainly an interesting period.

The Jets outshout the 'Hawks 16-12 in that first periods, which is a problem. Sixteen shots against is 8 too many, if you ask me, so that'll have to change this period. It'd also be nice for the 'Hawks to get a goal against this hot PK unit the Jets have, as they were 0-for-2 in the first.

Time for the 'Hawks to take control of this one. Discuss the second period below!
