Look on the bright side, you guys: You could be a Packers fan.

See? Your sports Sunday could’ve been worse. Yep. I’ll just cling to that for now. Disturbing trends continued for the guys in the Indianhead sweaters on Sunday at the United Center as the Hawks lost for the third time in four games, 6-3 to the Dallas Stars.

Let’s just get to the news, before the Stars get yet another odd-man rush:

**Defensive woes cost the Blackhawks again on Sunday night (SCH)

**Brandon Saad is pretty good at doing the hockey, huh? (SCH)

**Useless vermin Daniel Carcillo has a meeting in the principal’s office on Monday. His, uh, whatever he does will not be missed for the duration of his looming suspension. (Sun-Times)

**The Jets have caught the Hawks in the standings. They have played two more games, but still, there's a sentence nobody expected to type. (NHL.com)

**All-Star game will be a rare moment in spotlight for Brent Seabrook. (Sun-Times)

**Henrik Zetterberg netted a hat trick in the third period as the Red Wings dealt the Sabres their eleventh consecutive loss. (NHL.com)

**Those Sabres are "historically inept", writes the Buffalo News. (Buffalo News)

**Marc Staal signed a six-year extension with the Rangers. (Daily News)
