Morning Bag Skate: Blackhawks dominate All-Star voting

Our daily look at Blackhawks news and the happenings around the world of hockey.

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

Last night was a fun game that showcased the Blackhawks' never-say-die attitude and their championship prowess. Being down by a goal 4 different times and finding a way to win anyway is incredible, and it's the kind of game champions win (see: 2014 Western Conference Finals, Game 7). It's one of those wins that makes me so excited for the next game I can hardly wait, and yet I have to, as the 'Hawks don't play again until tomorrow. So until then, we have hockey news. Here's today's Skate:

**The NHL announced this weekend that 5 Blackhawks are locked into this season's All-Star game. (SCH)

**Even after finally been called up to the NHL squad, top prospect Teuvo Teravainen still has plenty of time to develop his game. (Sun Times)

**Some good thoughts on last night's game in Nina Falcone's Five Things. (CSN Chicago)

**Some Capitals fans showed up to the team's practice on Saturday with a banner reading "2015 Winter Classic Champs." They can have that one, and we'll look for a much more prestigious one this summer. (CSN)

**More Christmas Break violations, this time from the Philadelphia Flyers, who travelled on Boxing Day despite that being a violation of the CBA. They were fined an undisclosed amount yesterday. (NHL)

**Speaking of Christmas Break, the NHL ruled that the Anaheim Ducks would not be punished for their Boxing Day practice, as it was organized by captain Ryan Getzlaf, and not the organization. (PHT)

**Jaromir Jagr netted his 15th career hat trick this weekend, becoming the oldest player in NHL history to pot 3 in one game. (PHT)

**The Penguins acquired forward David Perron from the Edmonton Oilers on Friday. He mad his team debut last night, scoring a goal in an impressive showing. (Trade) (Game)

**Tampa Bay Lightning center Tyler Johnson continues to develop into a star player. (PHT)
