Brent Seabrook scored with 3 seconds left in the third period for the Chicago Blackhawks to avoid a second straight shutout in a 2-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday at United Center.
All three Chicago Blackhawks prospects will be in action Monday in Day 3 of the WJC. Radovan Bondra and Slovakia start the day against Czech Republic at 6 a.m., followed by Team USA and Nick Schmaltz vs. Sweden at 8 a.m. with Joni Tuulola and Finland vs. Russia at 10 a.m.
