A good effort in the second period allowed the Blackhawks to eventually break Patrick Kane free on a breakaway to tie this game at 1, and end the nearly 150-minute scoreless streak. This game still hasn't been overly offensive, as the shots sit at just 14-12 in favor of the Blackhawks. And in spite of the low shot counts, the goalies have shown up big time in this one, each making several key saves in the second. Hopefully the third period is more in the Blackhawks favor, and they can solve Hutchison one more time and shut the door on the Jets, earning their first win against them this year.
Here's your third and final game thread. Let's get 2 points here, boys. Go 'Hawks!
