Blackhawks vs. Blue Jackets game thread: Part Two

New, comments

The Blackhawks trail the Blue Jackets 4-2 after a ridiculous first period at the United Center.

Well, that was absurd.

What started out so great with one nifty Brandon Saad snipe quickly devolved into a complete and utter mess. Jay Cutler thinks this team commits a lot of turnovers. Man, that hurt to type.

Corey Crawford should have had stopped the Blue Jackets' third goal, but he was completely hung out to dry by his teammates on the other goals and a couple other chances that could've easily given Columbus more goals. The players and coaches say the right things in the media, yet the same problems persist.

I would've loved to be a fly on the wall inside of the Blackhawks' dressing room after that period. Here's hoping for a much better second period.

Let's go Blackhawks.
