Our daily look at Blackhawks news and the happenings around the hockey world.

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Duncan Keith's goal 7:49 into double overtime completed the Chicago Blackhawks' rally in a 4-3 win against the Nashville Predators in Game 1 of their Western Conference first round series at Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday.

Keith's slap shot from the point gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Patrick Kane added two assists in his return from injury, while backup goaltender Scott Darling made 42 saves after relieving Corey Crawford at the start of the second period.

One down, 15 to go for the Hawks.

So much for home-ice advantage as three of the four road teams won on the first night of the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
