The Rockford IceHogs clinched their first Calder Cup playoff berth since 2010 with a 7-2 victory over the Rochester Americans on Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bank Center.

The victory, coupled with a Hamilton Bulldogs (Montreal Canadiens) loss against the Utica Comets (Vancouver Canucks), ensured the playoff spot.

The Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues on Sunday night. Chicago sits one point behind second-place St. Louis in the Central Division.
