Morning Bag Skate: Blackhawks sign Viktor Tikhonov amid NHL free agency frenzy

The Chicago Blackhawks signed forward Viktor Tikhonov from SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL to a one-year, $1.04 million deal Wednesday. Chicago also saw the departure of Antoine Vermette and Brad Richards to the Arizona Coyotes and Detroit Red Wings, respectively. Before free agency started Wednesday, the Hawks inked newly acquired center Artem Anisimov to a five-year, $22.75 million extension.
