Chicago Blackhawks gift Denna Laing with signed, personalized jersey

The Blackhawks are the latest NHL team to share the love and support with Denna Laing.

There's been an outpouring of love for Denna Laing all across the hockey world. Participating in the first ever Women's Winter Classic between the CWHL's Les Canadiennes and NWHL's Boston Pride, Denna Laing - a Pride forward - suffered a severe spinal cord injury that left her with no feeling in her legs, and limited movement in her arms.

Since then, the entire hockey community has embraced her, from the women's leagues to the NHL itself. Women's teams have been forming #14s, her former number, on the ice in support, while various NHL teams have gifted her with signed, crested jerseys.

The Chicago Blackhawks are now the latest to do so. Via Boston Pride General Manager Hayley Moore:

Good on the Blackhawks for joining in on the fray, expressing their love and support for Laing.
