When the Hawks take the ice, Artemi Panarin and Patrick Kane will be on separate lines. Kane will play on the top line alongside rookie Nick Schmaltz and Artem Anisimov, while Panarin will be at left wing on the second line with Richard Panik and center Vincent Hinostroza.
Kane scored 46 goals and 106 points to win the 2016 Art Ross and Hart Trophy, while Panarin was second on the team in points a season ago with 77 (30 goals, 47 assists) to claim the Calder Trophy as the league’s best rookie.

Blues are 3-1 in preseason
The Blues, by contrast, have scored 17 goals in four preseason games. They opened their schedule with back-to-back wins against Columbus before falling to Dallas. But their power play led them to a 4-1 win Friday in St. Louis.
St. Louis will be without forward Jaden Schwartz, who is sidelined for a month with an elbow injury. Defenseman Alex Pietrangelo and Jay Bouwmeester will also be out as they’ve yet to return to the lineup after winning the World Cup with Canada.
Carter Hutton is expected to start in net.
