Every important 2016 NHL trade deadline rumor involving the Chicago Blackhawks

Keep up with the latest Blackhawks trade rumors before the Feb. 29 deadline here.

David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Blackhawks are buyers at this year's trade deadline. That much is certain as the team looks to win its fourth Stanley Cup in seven years. A year ago, trades brought in Antoine Vermette, Kimmo Timonen and Andrew Desjardins to the eventual NHL champions. This year, GM Stan Bowman will once again look to strengthen his team for a big playoff run.

The NHL trade deadline is set for 3 p.m. ET on Feb. 29. Already we've seen the Blackhawks make six trades this season, including a blockbuster to acquire Jets forward Andrew Ladd from Winnipeg on Thursday. They've also acquired several other players to make a playoff run and might not even be done.

That means we're going to hear a lot about what the Blackhawks might do before the end of the month. Here's a roundup of every major rumor and trade-related piece of news involving Chicago in a list that will be regularly updated until the Feb. 29 deadline.
