Jiri Sekac will pack his bags for Arizona after he was claimed off waivers by the Coyotes, reports Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

The 23-year-old winger appeared in only six games for the Chicago Blackhawks after being acquired in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks for Ryan Garbutt. He recorded his only point in a Hawks uniform Thursday with an assist in a 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators. He and a plus-7.3 percent Corsi relative in about 10 minutes of ice time per game.
Sekac has a $925,000 salary cap hit for this season. He is set to become a restricted free agent this summer.
