Marian Hossa will not travel with the Chicago Blackhawks to Winnipeg due to an illness, reports Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun Times. Lazerus also notes that Artem Anisimov and Brent Seabrook will make the trip after missing Tuesday's game in Minnesota with an illness.
The Blackhawks wrap up their four-game road trip Friday in Winnipeg.
Hossa, 37, scored his 499th NHL career goal in the loss at Minnesota. He has 13 goals and 19 assists in 63 games this season. Tomas Flesichmann skated in Hossa's spot at right wing on the top line during Thursday's practice.
Anisimov has 19 goals and 19 assists in 74 games in his first season with Chicago. The 27-year-old last scored a point against Winnipeg with an assist. Seabrook has a career-high 13 goals and 29 assists in 76 games this season. Seabrook paired with Viktor Svedberg for the second pairing during practice.
