The Chicago Blackhawks have four games left in the regular-season and are fighting for playoff positing. Each day until the end of the regular-season, we'll breakdown their seeding chances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Saturday's results
Dallas squeezed out a win over Los Angeles to build their first-place lead in the Central Division. San Jose held off Nashville, who sits in the first wild-card spot in the Western Conference, in overtime.
Sunday's scoreboard watch
Chicago can gain two points on second-place St. Louis with a win over Boston, but the Blues can erase the effort with a win over Colorado in Denver. If Chicago comes away with at least a point they'll clinch a top three finish in the Central. Minnesota, who sits five points clear of Colorado in the second wild-card spot, can clinch a playoff berth with a win in any fashion for the Winnipeg Jets and an Avs loss in regulation to St. Louis.
Dallas plays the second half of a back-to-back in Anaheim against the Ducks. Dallas can clinch the Central, but they'll need some help. A Stars win and a St. Louis loss to Colorado in regulation would clinch the division and the top seed in the West.
