The Chicago Blackhawks signed 2013 fifth-round pick Luke Johnson to a three-year entry-level contract Friday. The move adds intrigue to whether or not 2014 first-round pick Nick Schmaltz will sign with Chicago after two seasons in North Dakota, and if undrafted free agent Drake Caggiula will join him.
