SCH 30 Days of Fandom, Day 2: What is your favorite Blackhawks memory?

New, comments

Our 30 day series continues.

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

With the Blackhawks bowing out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the first round for the first time since 2012, we have a much longer offseason to fill with content and fun than normal. One of the ways we have decided to that is to do this 30 day "challenge" in which we will present a topic for you, the SCH commenters and community, to answer. Every day for 30 days we will have a new topic to discuss in the comments.

Please remember that not everyone's opinions are the same. We ask that you do not mock others for their opinions that are different than yours. Everyone's varying opinions are good to help create discussion, and we can come to know each other a little better through this exercise.

Stick tap to Cageside Seats, SBN's Pro Wrestling blog, for the idea.

Day 2: What is your favorite Blackhawks memory?

Adam: I shared a good Hawks memory yesterday as part of day one, but that one wasn't my favorite. My all-time favorite Blackhawks memory came on June 2, 2010, when I got to attend Game 3 of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final in Philadelphia. I have family that lives in the Philly area, so I got to go visit them and watch the Hawks play one of the bigger games of their franchise's existence. They lost in OT, but the game was an awesome experience, and one week later the Blackhawks gave me another cool memory when they won the Cup (though I was on a couch at my friend's house for that one).

Brandon: Oh boy, where to start with this question? There's the 5-goal rally against Calgary, the Cup-winning games and much more. For me, it's Game 6 of the 2014 Western Conference quarterfinals against the Blues. I took one of my little brothers to his first Hawks game for his birthday. After the second period it was 1-1, and the Hawks scored four straight goals in the third with Duncan Keith having two primary assists and a goal for the final nail in the coffin.

So, sound off below. What's your favorite Hawks memory?
