With the Blackhawks bowing out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the first round for the first time since 2012, we have a much longer offseason to fill with content and fun than normal. One of the ways we have decided to that is to do this 30 day "challenge" in which we will present a topic for you, the SCH commenters and community, to answer. Every day for 30 days we will have a new topic to discuss in the comments.
Please remember that not everyone's opinions are the same. We ask that you do not mock others for their opinions that are different than yours. Everyone's varying opinions are good to help create discussion, and we can come to know each other a little better through this exercise.
Stick tap to Cageside Seats, SBN's Pro Wrestling blog, for the idea.
Day 14: Your most cherished piece of Blackhawks merchandise?
Adam: This is a hard question. I have a lot of Blackhawks merch. Jerseys, shirseys, t-shirts, hats, socks, hoodies, sweatpants, and even a onesie. Among all of them though, one is my favorite: my Teuvo Teravainen jersey. I have been a big Teuvo fan ever since the Hawks drafted him and I got to see some highlights of him, and after he played well in the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs I was smitten. For my birthday last summer, my parents and fiancé got together to get me a Teuvo jersey. I wore it to every home game I went to this year, and it was my first go-to when the 2016 Playoffs started. I love it and the player on the back. Also it is still weird to me that as a generally young person, my favorite pro athlete is younger than me.
So, sound off below. What's your most cherished Hawks merch?
