The Rockford Area Venues and Entertainment board will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. Friday to discuss contract details about renewing the AHL Rockford IceHogs affiliation with the Chicago Blackhawks. RAVE governs the BMO Harris Bank Center where the IceHogs play.

San Jose spoiled Pittsburgh's homecoming by winning Game 5 and preventing the Penguins from clinching the first championship in the Steel City since 1960. The Sharks host the Penguins in Game 6, trailing 3-2 in the best-of-seven series.
