Blackhawks depth chart 2016: A living projection of the roster and salary cap books

Keep updated on how Chicago's 2016-17 roster is stacking up with our constantly updating depth chart and salary cap projections.

Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

With the conclusion of the 2015-16 NHL season, the league finally turns its attention fully towards the offseason. You know what that means: rosterbating. The Blackhawks should, once again, look rather different by October than they did just a couple months ago.

To help keep track of how the team is coming together, we've decided to put together a living depth chart and salary cap page that will be regularly updated throughout the offseason. When the Hawks make a trade or signing that impacts next season's roster, you can check here to see how we think the pieces will ultimately come together. We'll also keep be tracking how the projected roster fits under the salary cap to see how those numbers stack up. This only includes players currently under contract with the team, so no trying to squeeze Evgeni Malkin in there.

Without further ado, here's your projection of the 2016-17 Chicago Blackhawks:
