The second day of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft starts Saturday morning at 9 a.m. CT from First Niagara Center in Buffalo. The first 30 picks were made Friday night, with American forward Auston Matthews going No. 1 overall to the Toronto Maple Leafs to start the festivities. Next up we have the remaining 180 picks.
The Blackhawks didn't make any picks on Day 1, but their presence was felt with the trade of forward Andrew Shaw. Chicago dealt the restricted free agent to the Canadiens for the No. 39 and No. 45 picks in this year's draft, giving the team 10 selections on Saturday. Three of those picks are in the second round, so you'll want to tune in early.
Tons of quality prospects are still available, so the Hawks should be able to add a ton of talent in one day. There's also the possibility of another trade given that large stockpile of picks. GM Stan Bowman has his hands full in Buffalo, that's for sure.
