Three years ago today, the Chicago Blackhawks were celebrating their second Stanley Cup in recent history. Their incredible start to the lockout-shortened season saw them get home ice throughout the entire playoffs, and then, naturally, they won.
The phrase "17 seconds" still makes Boston cry out to this day.
So it's probably a good thing Niklas Hjalmarsson and wife Elina scheduled their wedding for late July. (Always gotta be on your toes regarding dates when you're marrying a professional athlete on a very successful team.) Because guess what - today is their third anniversary!
What a perfect, beautiful couple. Here's to many, many more anniversaries ahead!
