The Blackhawks defeated the Penguins 5-1, with goals from Panarin, Panik, Kruger, Hossa and Kero. Corey Crawford stopped 31 of 32 shots in the win.

Alex DeBrincat's Erie Otters advanced to the second round of the OHL playoffs after defeating the Sarnia Sting 4-0 to sweep.
