The Chicago Blackhawks are reportedly discussing trading forward Marcus Kruger and defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk to the Vegas Golden Knights, the NHL’s newest expansion franchise. A potential trade would quality as Vegas’ pick from Chicago in the expansion draft, which is June 21 in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena.

The Pittsburgh Penguins score three third-period goals en route to a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators for a 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday in Pittsburgh. The series takes two days off as it shifts to Nashville for Games 3 and 4. Game 3 is Saturday at Bridgestone Arena.
