Despite being limited to only off-ice activities, Chicago Blackhawks prospect Alexandre Fortin is pushing for an NHL roster spot. Fortin, who had surgery three weeks ago for a sports-hernia injury, put on 20 pounds and feels his bigger frame is better suited for the NHL than it was a year ago when he signed an entry-level contract after the team’s prospect camp.
