Chicago Blackhawks stars Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews are no longer the single highest paid duo in the NHL.

The Edmonton Oilers signed Leon Draisaitl to an eight-year, $68 million deal Wednesday. The deal paired with Connor McDavid’s eight-year, $100 million extension equals Kane and Toews’ $21 million salary-cap hit for next season.
