NHL: Preseason-Chicago Blackhawks at Columbus Blue Jackets Russell LaBounty-USA TODAY Sports

The Blackhawks play the first half of a back-to-back Saturday when they visit the Blue Jackets in Columbus.

Chicago’s AHL affiliate, the IceHogs, rallied from a three-goal deficit to force overtime, but Conor Garland scored the game-winner with 27.7 seconds to hand Rockford a 4-3 loss.

Josiah Slavin, a 2018 seventh-round draft pick, also scored the game-winning goal for Lincoln in a 4-1 win over Madison in the USHL.
