John Tavares scored a hat trick and Morgan Rielly scored 19 seconds into overtime for the Maple Leafs to hand the Blackhawks their first loss of the season, 7-6, on Sunday at the United Center. The Blackhawks have three days off before they visit the Wild on Thursday in Minnesota.

Chicago prospect MacKenzie Entwistle had a goal, an assist and five shots on goal for Hamilton in a 5-2 win over Windsor in the OHL. He has two goals and an assist in six games.
