Duncan Keith was ejected in the first period against the Predators after a fight.
Miikka Salomaki drilled the Blackhawks veteran defenseman into the boards and he didn’t like it. Keith then pulled Salomaki to the ice and a fight started.

Keith was given a roughing penalty and instigator penalty against Salomaki. Keith also received a misconduct and game misconduct. Salomaki was not assessed a penalty, but Irwin did get called for a roughing penalty against DeBrincat.
The Predators took a 3-0 lead only 4:11 into the game. It’s the sixth consecutive game the Blackhawks have allowed the first goal.
