Defenseman Carl Dahlstrom and forward Dylan Sikura will both make their season debuts for the Blackhawks against the Penguins on Wednesday at the United Center in Chicago. The Blackhawks call up both players earlier in the day from the AHL.

Dahlstrom posted three assists in 11 NHL games last season, but started this fall in the AHL. The 23-year-old left-handed blue liner has a goal and seven assists in 22 AHL games this season. The 2013 second-round pick had 28 points (three goals, 25 assists) in 64 AHL contests during the 2017-18 AHL campaign.

Sikura, who was selected in the sixth round of the 2014 draft, was leading the Rockford IceHogs in scoring with nine goals and 18 points in 26 AHL games in his first full professional season. After finishing his college career at Northeastern University, the 23-year-old had three assists in five NHL games last spring.
