NHL: Winnipeg Jets at Chicago Blackhawks David Banks-USA TODAY Sports

The Blackhawks fell 4-3 in overtime to the Jets on Friday at the United Center. Chicago has Saturday off before hosting the Sharks on Sunday.

Luke Johnson scored twice, including the game-winner in overtime to lift the IceHogs to a 3-2 win over the Griffins in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The IceHogs return to Rockford to host the Texas Stars on Saturday.

Chicago Steel couldn’t keep up with the Phantoms in a 6-5 loss in Youngstown, Ohio. The two teams play the second game of their three-game weekend series Saturday.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Bulls visit the Spurs on Saturday.
