The Blackhawks activated forward Artem Anisimov and defenseman Gustav Forsling from injured reserve Tuesday morning.
Anisimov missed four games with a concussion. He’s sixth on the team in scoring with 15 points (six goals, nine assists) and averages 16:14 minutes of ice time.
Forsling was out for six games with a back injury he sustained Oct. 5 at Anaheim. Blackhawks head coach Jeremy Colliton said the left-handed blue liner played through the injury during Chicago’s loss to the Ducks. Forsling has one goal and four assists in 11 NHL games this season since returning from offseason surgery on his right wrist.
Anisimov centered the second line with Dylan Strome and Patrick Kane during the Blackhawks’ morning skate Tuesday. Forsling was paired with Brent Seabrook on the second line.
