NHL: Florida Panthers at Chicago Blackhawks Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports

The Blackhawks fell 6-3 to the Panthers on Sunday night at the United Center.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the NFC North Division champion Bears improved to 11-4 after holding off the 49ers, 14-9, in Santa Clara, California. Lauri Markkanen scored 31 points and the Bulls won consecutive games for the first time this season, beating the Cavaliers 112-92 in Cleveland.
