Russia 7, Switzerland 4
Swiss center Philipp Kurashev (2018 fourth-rounder) missed a penalty shot and had three shots on goal in 22:46 of total ice time. It was the first tournament game he has not scored. Kurashev has five goals and one assist in four games.
The Swiss were awarded two penalty shots after Russia’s Dmitri Smorukov took down Marco Lehmann twice on a breakaway with 3 minutes left in the second period with the game tied 3-3. Lehmann and Kurashev did not convert their respective penalty shot.
