Colliton also said Forsling played through the injury Wednesday during the Blackhawks’ 4-2 loss to the Ducks in Anaheim. Forsling, a left-handed blue liner, has one goal and four assists in 11 NHL games this season. He has seen time on the first and third defensive pairings with numerous partners.
Jan Rutta will draw into Chicago’s lineup against the Golden Knights on Thursday in Las Vegas. The right-handed defenseman has two goals and four assists in 21 games this season while on the third pairing.

Corey Crawford will start in net for the second straight night. He allowed three goals, including two in a 20-second span in the first period Wednesday.

Crawford allowed six goals before being pulled after the second period for Cam Ward, who gave up two more goals on 13 shots.
